The base is the All Weather Parka, one of the archive items of Marmot, which is known as the first outdoor brand to adopt and commercialize GORE-TEX in the late 1970s. It is said that the now-timeless masterpiece, the US Army ECWCS GEN1 GORE-TEX Parka, was created using this jacket as a base. This time, while incorporating the details of the GEN1 Parka into the All Weather Parka, we have achieved an exquisite balance by unifying it with our corporate color, yellow, which is the opposite of rugged military items. The high and large collar and the drawcord at the hem are based on the early GEN1 type, and the details of the hood and the wide front placket are based on the late GEN1 type, extracting and mashing up the good parts of each of the early and late types. The silhouette is designed to be worn loosely even over thick fleece or sweatshirts, with a double-zippered front with a double front placket, ventilation under the arms, and a drawcord at the hem.
