This is a Korean calligraphy set. The main item is a red stone inkstone, powerfully carved with a dragon. Both the inkstone itself and the stone lid have many glittering specks, making it a rather fine inkstone. Regarding the origin of the inkstone, it closely resembles the Jeju Island inkstones I've handled before, so I believe it's from Jeju Island. The water dropper is a Korean celadon? ceramic piece, and the wooden box appears to be lacquered, making it a very nice calligraphy set. How about this price?
