This is an Antonio Laverda 39/83 wide-collar business shirt. I believe I've worn it less than 10 times since I bought it new. ANTONIO LAVERDA was born in Thiene, Veneto, Italy. His father, Francesco Laverda, founded Nuova Taela and launched the shirt brand "GUY ROVER." Antonio himself began learning shirtmaking from a young age, frequenting the workshop. After graduating from Bocconi University in Milan, he took over the family business. His philosophy is that "understanding every aspect of cutting, sewing, ironing, and details, and achieving all of these at a high level, is what true shirtmaking is all about." Due to rising production costs, the true quality of Italian-made shirts is becoming something only a select few can afford. To realize his ideal of making the true quality of Italian shirts accessible to as many people as possible at a reasonable price, he went to China in the spring of 2009 with Italian technicians and established his own shirt production line. His commitment to shirtmaking, inherited from his father's generation, is highly regarded for its fine details, high quality, and beautiful silhouette.
