This is hand-spun, hand-woven fabric made from Thai mountain silk. It is a very light and delicate fabric, making it ideal for curtains, noren (traditional Japanese fabric dividers), or small screens. It's also perfect for tiered skirts, as it's light and breathable, resulting in a wonderful finish. The texture is similar to Thai silk scarves often found in Asian雑貨 stores and traditional Japanese clothing stores. As it is hand-spun, hand-woven raw silk, there are occasional slubs and the weave is not uniform, allowing you to enjoy the natural texture. The third photo is the closest to the actual color. Due to hand-dyeing, there may be some color unevenness. Dry cleaning is recommended for washing.
