This is a pouch purchased about 15 years ago at "Authentique Home," a stylish shop for ceramics and miscellaneous goods in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I cherished it so much that I kept it unused. It is made of off-white sashiko fabric with what appears to be hand-drawn dragonfly illustrations sewn onto it. Vietnam has high embroidery skills, and you often see miscellaneous goods adorned with dragonflies and lotus flowers. They are considered auspicious motifs. Everything is handmade, and the sashiko fabric is intricately crafted. Please check the photos for size.
