This is a matcha bowl from the Mizuma-yaki Fushiwara kiln, located in Mizuma, Kaizuka City, Osaka Prefecture. Mizuma-yaki (Nakano family) originally had a deep connection with Mizuma-dera Temple. It is said that this tea bowl was made using the soil from the irrigation canal that flows into Eiju Pond (Jizodo, Kaizuka City), which was built by Gyoki 1200 years ago. It has an olive-green color similar to that of Yuezhou kiln in China. A description of Mizuma-yaki is attached. The inscription is not by the chief priest of Mizuma-dera Temple, Daizo-jo Bukaku Enshi. It is a beautiful item that has been stored for a long time and is almost unused, but there is a kiln scar on the foot. Please check the last photo. Diameter: 13.7cm Height: 7cm
