This is an old, Japanese-made vintage guitar, and as such, it has aged and deteriorated over time, with scratches and repairs. It does not feel like a new guitar, so please only purchase if you understand vintage guitars. Elmaya was a mid-range brand that entered the market around 1978 and eventually released its original brand. The model number is an estimate. The body was originally stripped of its paint and roughly painted, and then repainted after undercoat adjustments. The paint has a somewhat rough, vintage feel. The body material is likely nato, a hardwood used as a substitute for mahogany and used in mid-range guitars. The top coat has been sprayed with three coats of hard clear lacquer, resulting in a decent finish. Maintenance has been completed. (String height adjustment, octave adjustment, fret polishing, overall cleaning) There is a possibility that screws may loosen during transportation. Condition is good! Frets are about 70-80% remaining (crowned and polished). (Strings are slightly worn, but there is no problem with playing) The electrical system is working properly. Output is stable and each knob responds normally. Neck is straight. Truss rod can be adjusted. No buzzing during normal picking. Strings are new, but consider them as a bonus (consumable).
