The fabric is very sturdy and thick, making it warm. I bought it at Costco about six years ago. It was one of my favorite items that I was glad to have purchased, but I'm selling it because it no longer fits. I don't live in a snowy region, and I've only used it about five times. There are no noticeable holes or scratches.
