Usable up to 5mm This is a row counter for garter stitch/flat knitting. Use it by counting the front and back sides (odd and even rows) separately. Advance two at a time. I think it's easier to count with symbols like hearts included. (I can't explain it well, but I personally find it easier to use than just the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.) You can also use just one for "counting only the front side." Also, I recommend it because I think you can use it for counting 10 rows in the round! It's also easy to understand when increasing for the heel flap of socks, etc., when it's a two-row pattern. (Numbers for increases, symbols for no increases) R = right side (front) W = wrong side (back) It's a simple design with number beads strung on a cord.
