Beautiful, unused item, in a paulownia wood box. This is an old item, but it has been carefully stored in a paulownia wood box. While it's not quite new, it is unused. This is a very distinctive sukiya bag, woven with the artistic technique of "tsuzure nishiki" brocade. It can be used not only for tea ceremony utensils, but also for things like passbooks and prayer beads. There is one small area of concern, which you can see in the last photo.
