There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that this is a personal inspection, so there may be oversights, and that it is a stored item before purchasing. This is a work from Seikou Kiln, which is popular among Kutani ware. The small birds, Japanese white-eyes, are drawn very cutely, making it a wonderful item. Each one is hand-painted, and the plump, raised Japanese white-eyes are indescribable. The original box is damaged, but I think it's in relatively good condition.
