We have created a large, square tray and a corner-cut square tray using solid, hard keyaki (Japanese zelkova) wood with tiger stripe and curly grain. We made it as a large square tray and a corner-cut square tray. The solid wood was carefully cut and crafted using a carving technique. We finished it using well-dried wood. Since it is dried wood, it should not warp (deform or crack) unless it is soaked in water or exposed to direct sunlight. We have finished it by carefully applying multiple coats of beeswax wax. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth. Avoid washing with water or using a dishwasher. Wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient for daily care. It is the perfect size for sencha (Japanese green tea). We use natural materials and make them carefully, but the price is set low because it is a hobby.
