This set is about 5 years old. The paint is not solidified. (I researched and found that there isn't a strict expiration date for watercolors, but they can be used for several years to over 10 years if stored well. It seems that even if watercolor paint solidifies, it can be used if dissolved in water.) ❦ Brushes There are 5 new brushes in a bag, and 4 brushes that are not in a bag, so they are probably used.
