The lid knob, handle, and spout are mint green, giving it a refreshing look. It is cute yet cool, with the pink of the hydrangeas serving as an accent. As it is chintz, it has a presence even on its own. The condition is as stated at the beginning. When I shake the lid, I hear a fragment sound, but since there is no crack in the lid, I infer that a fragment entered the hollow part of the lid during firing.
