I recently purchased a new Fender MEX Vintera II 70s Mustang Bass. I had the headstock painted by a builder who specializes in high-end basses. I was aiming for the look of a Mustang from around 1969-71. I also changed the tuners to that type. The tuner screw holes are in the same position, so no new holes were drilled. The tuners and paint job alone cost a considerable amount. The price is sometimes lower than the current retail price of a new bass. I think this is a great deal, so please consider it. Search for "1969 Mustang Bass" to see some cool basses from that era. I think the real ones are now worth close to a million yen. It comes with the Fender case that it came with when I bought it.
