This unit uses AC125 germanium transistors, and a configuration that also employs germanium diodes, producing a vintage-like distortion that cannot be achieved with silicon components, characterized by a blend of roundness and roughness. Case processing, wiring, and assembly are all done in-house. The circuit is based on the Buzzaround type, and while a pre-made circuit board is used, component selection, wiring, and final adjustments were all done by myself. ■ Sound Characteristics This unit is not the type of effect pedal that "produces a stable sound at any knob position" like modern effect pedals. It behaves similarly to fuzz pedals from the 60s and 70s, with a peaky knob response. Therefore, I believe this is a pedal for those who have some understanding of the behavior of effect pedals from this era.
