The original string from when I bought it is missing, and I've used my own cotton string. However, it's stained from aging, so please replace it with your preferred string. It was folded over at the string hole, so it's slightly flared. The material is unknown (I don't think it's a natural material). Please note that it will be flattened for shipping to reduce the thickness. I try to ship the same day, but I may not be able to do so on weekends or consecutive holidays.
