Rubber trees, cultivated for the extraction of rubber sap, are harvested when they become old and the sap yield decreases, and have been used for things like new materials. In recent years, research has advanced, and this rubberwood has come into the spotlight as a natural material for wooden furniture, etc. It can be regenerated in a short period of time and is a wonderful material unrelated to the destruction of the natural environment, such as global warming.
