This is a leather BG ligature. It's for tenor saxophones. I bought it new around 2003 and used it quite a bit. *The mouthpiece in the photo is a tenor C★ and is for illustrative purposes only. Brass gold plating is incorporated inside. Although the exterior is leather, the playing feel is surprisingly similar to metal, with a sharp attack, and the tone is a mellow sound. It blends well with instruments like the euphonium in a concert hall. It functions without any problems and can be used for playing. However, the appearance shows signs of use, and the leather has stretched, so please understand that this is a junk item. For ligature collectors. No returns or exchanges.
