The front is blue-gray, and I believe the back is grayish-navy. The pattern is Genjiko (incense ceremony). The colors of the pattern are subdued, including shades of yellow-orange, moss green, gray, purple, and brick red, with a dull gold. Although I'm not certain, I believe everything except the gold is silk. The te-saki (hand end) is not sewn, but the tare-saki (hanging end) is sewn. There is no obi core. The fabric is not too soft, and it's a firm obi material.
