This is bubinga wood that has been stored for nearly 10 years for guitar and bass making, and I believe it can be used for a body or fingerboard. It has a straight grain with intense figuring, and I was told it was a high-grade and expensive piece. It's very heavy, so I think the most practical options are to saw it into top wood or hollow it out. I had it with the intention of using it as a body material for a small bass.
