The same item was being sold for about three times this price, so I've relisted it. It was at my parents' house, and I listed it, but it appears to be a black opal. However, it's quite old, so I've marked it as "slightly scratched," but it's not that there are scratches. Rather, it shows its age on the back. It can still be used as earrings, and the front is beautiful. Another site mentioned an 18-karat gold frame, but there are no hallmarks... however, it is sturdy. Thank you for looking.
