This is a large inkstone featuring a dragon and phoenix, made in China. It measures 60 centimeters wide and 37 centimeters long, and it's quite heavy. I can imagine how difficult it was to carve such a large stone so deeply. It also has several round stone "eyes," similar to those found in Duan inkstones. There's a phoenix in the center, and the dragon's whiskers are painted white, but unfortunately, one of the dragon's upper whiskers is missing. Thank you.
