I purchased this from a shop called "... (name omitted)" in Kitano, Kobe nearly 20 years ago. They carried items like Gallé, and this was sold as a set of two at a price I could manage. I was drawn to the atmosphere more than the Gallé pieces, and it was an impulse buy. The framing is truly meticulous and wonderful! It seems to have been framed at a famous place in Paris. The photograph features a signature from Julia Bartet, a famous French actress. Apparently, there's a Julia Bartet street in Paris, although I've never been. I'm selling this now as part of a decluttering effort. Of course, I'll be pricing it affordably. I hope anyone interested will enjoy displaying it. The actual item has a much better atmosphere than the photos! I believe it's a museum-quality piece. Please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection, as it is an old item.
