This haori was made by deconstructing and washing a men's wool kimono and combining it with a Ryukyu pattern. The design allows for enjoying changes in the collar, and it looks great even when worn open. The wool has a bit of firmness, so it doesn't have a flowing drape, but the Ryukyu pattern gives it a chic and calm finish. Snap buttons are attached on both sides to prevent the collar facing from showing too much (photo 8). A covered button is on the left shoulder, and a button for fastening is on the inside of the right shoulder (photo 9). Pockets are on both sides, allowing access from the side, but they are not seam pockets (photo 7). There is no lining.
