This is a toere I purchased during a workshop with a professional musician from Tahiti. It is approximately 51cm tall, 14cm in diameter, and weighs about 3kg. It's a size that's easy to carry around. The sound is good. However, there is a splinter on the sweet spot (the place with the best sound). According to the instructor, it's best to sand it with two types of sandpaper and then wipe it with monoi oil. I will include no. 100 and no. 180 sandpaper, and the oil. First, sand with the coarse no. 100 sandpaper, finish with the fine no. 180, and wipe with the oil. Don't sand all at once, sand little by little.
