This is a Tornado ZⅡ, manufactured and sold by Morris, Moridaira Gakki, who also manufactured domestic Ovation and Pinnacle guitars as an Ovation agent in the 80s, using their accumulated know-how. It originally retailed for ¥60,000. From a distance, it looks black, but it's a dark green burst with a greenish hue. The body sides and back are made of resin, the same as Ovation, with a thin, super-shallow graphite body. It's an electric-acoustic guitar with an impressive headstock carving, similar to Ovation Adamas. The electric-acoustic controls are simple: 1 volume and 1 tone, piezo type, powered by a 9V battery. The battery will be removed from the battery box before shipping. The tuners are gold, made in Japan, and are reliable Gotoh Rotomatic tuners. Although it's an old instrument, there are some minor scratches and fading, but it's in good condition considering its age. The string height is low, and the truss rod has room to spare. This is a used item, so there are scratches. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about this.
