They are a set of 2, either pepper & salt or salt & salt. This is a set of 5 pairs. I bought them as souvenirs or for my own use because the vegetable patterns are cute. I accumulated empty containers, but I couldn't bear to throw them away, so I hope someone can make use of them. They are cute as seasoning containers in the kitchen or as decorations on the dining table. You can open the lids and transfer contents from other containers. They are paper containers, so they cannot be washed. I opened all the lids and checked the contents. There was no mold or any other abnormalities. These are items stored at home.
