If you are concerned, please restore the water repellency with a waterproofing spray. It can still be sufficiently used as a windbreaker for light snow, cold protection, snow removal, and cycling in the upcoming season. It can also still be used as an outer layer for farm work or outdoor jobs where it doesn't matter if it gets dirty. It has a hood that can be stored in the collar, making it a compact jacket.
