Old guide book of the Southern Alps. I used to carefully look at this book with a bookstore cover on it, and while it has aged, it's generally in good condition. It's a guide book from about 60 years ago. Although the underlying longing for the mountains hasn't changed much, the equipment and itineraries of young climbers back then seem to have changed considerably.
