Checking if it can run around a simple course with a slope for about 3 laps with only the lead car. Checking for gear cracks on the axles with tires (suspicious ones are visually inspected). Items that pass these checks are considered "Works OK". The operation check is performed during the photo shoot. It may break during transportation. Some gear cracks may be ambiguous, so there may be oversights. There are various things like noisy operation sounds and slow or fast speeds. I will note anything that feels particularly out of place. These items have passed through multiple owners, including myself. Parts may have been repaired. I do not recommend this for those who want everything original.
