This is an old Free-Jointed doll. Although the body paper is missing, judging from the face, I believe it is a work by Zuikan Kashimura. She has a very cute and lovely face. She is small, about 32cm tall. Her hands and feet are the straight type without joints. In addition to dirt on her face, there is added color on her cheeks. Her hair has been replaced. The body has thick gofun (white pigment) on the hands and feet, and is of good quality, but there are chips on the tips of her hands and feet. She came to my house almost naked, so I had new clothes made for her. The doll is probably from around the early Showa era. Although there is aging and damage commensurate with the years, she is a valuable Free-Jointed doll nowadays. Her Tomoe (a type of doll joint) also squeaks cheerfully.
