These are geta (Japanese wooden clogs) that I've been using for about two years. They have a fluffy "hanao" (thong) made of "honten" fabric and a "karasu-omote" (black lacquered) surface. The boat-shaped sole has rubber on it, so you can use them like zori (sandals). The hanao is a good quality one made of honten fabric in a color between pink and adzuki bean, so it won't hurt your feet. The "tsubo" (the part that goes between your toes) is a pale lemon color. I had them custom-made at a long-established geta shop in Gunma for about 22,000 yen. Condition: There is some peeling on the toe area as shown in photo 9. This is the only flaw, and the rest is relatively clean. The soles are slightly bumpy from walking on gravel roads, but there is almost no wear on the heels. Regarding the flaw: It's not very noticeable when worn, but these are used items that I've worn several times over about two years. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Length: 23cm, Width: 9cm, Height: 5.5cm (I usually wear 24.5cm shoes and have wide feet, but they are a comfortable size and very stable.)
