To commemorate the Mercari listing, we are selling the [Enhanced Version] with three underwater resistance plates, which was originally planned as an optional specification (+300 yen), at a fixed price. ▪️Feature ① Manual type that activates by matching This is not an auto-type Yaen where the "automatic hookset" often mentioned in the Yaen industry is automatically realized, but a manual-type Yaen where the angler themselves actively sets the hook. Unlike the Yaen that relies heavily on luck, whether the Yaen hooks the squid or not, this Yaen allows you to fully enjoy the fun of setting the hook properly. ▪️Feature ② Autumn Aori Squid Limited Specification Uses 0.8mm stainless steel spring wire for the main shaft, and 0.6mm stainless steel spring wire for the hook part. It does not have the strength of commercially available Yaen, and the forward speed is also slow. On the other hand, it is finished as an ultra-lightweight Yaen, averaging around 7g, making it possible to approach the Aori squid without making them wary. It performs best, especially for autumn Aori squid, which have less power. Optimal Aori squid size: Approximately 150-700g ※In field tests in the fall of 2025, an 820g Aori squid was caught. There was no anxiety in the fight until the net was used, but the hook tip bent slightly. It was reshaped by hand on the spot, but it is recommended to use it up to about 700g. If used for spring squid, the hook tip may bend greatly and come off. ▪️Feature ③ All Handmade Each piece is handmade from the hook tip to the tail, and due to the wide range of manufacturing processes, there are variations in quality due to individual differences such as scratches from manufacturing tools and solder marks. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
