I handcrafted a tote bag by patching together the embroidered camellia flower section of a Nagoya obi with the plain sections of another Nagoya obi. The left and right sides are doubled over, and only the central part has interfacing, making it firm and sturdy. A single camellia flower floating on the surface of the water beautifully complements the dark red fabric on both sides, resulting in an elegant bag with a sophisticated and sweet atmosphere. Only the center of the outer fabric uses firm interfacing. The inside is made of dark brown cotton fabric. The embroidered part has a silver background. The vermilion camellia embroidery, framed by subtle glitter dots, is very lovely and charming.
