This is an M39 wool jacket manufactured and used by the Swedish Army during the 1940s-50s of WWII. Made of thick, heavy, high-density wool fabric with a luxurious feel, it's very warm and feels more like a coat than a jacket. While it's a neat and clean-looking wool jacket, it also has active features like cotton gussets in the armpits for freedom of movement and a 6-pocket design with large pockets on the back, making it similar to a hunting jacket. The lapel has a unique design not found elsewhere. The buttons feature the triple crown, a symbol of the Swedish military. I believe there are no other military wool jackets that combine design and functionality so well. 6-pocket type (4 front, 2 back). It's a tailored jacket type with four front pockets, two large cargo pockets on the back, and three inner pockets.
