I believe this is a very rare and almost mythical item. It has been stored unused in its original box. The outer box and cushioning material show some age-related deterioration, but the item itself is in good condition, with the gold gilding well-preserved. This is a backstamp from the Doccia kiln. It features decorations of pure gold on fine white porcelain, depicting various motifs reminiscent of the world of magic and divination. The Gio Ponti Collection is an homage to Gio Ponti, the renowned architect who served as Ginori's creative director, and conveys Ginori 1735's outstanding craftsmanship to the present day through objects that tell the story of its history in the Florence workshop.
