I made it to be convenient for things like securing lunch boxes, bundling luggage, and holding up the hems of gaucho pants. It's also popular for aluminum lunch boxes required by some kindergartens and traditional wooden lunch boxes. Rubber bands are essential. However, young children may find it difficult to remove or fasten looped rubber bands because they lack the strength to hold the ends and stretch them. In the worst-case scenario, they might spill their lunch and not be able to eat it. I started making these after hearing from teachers at kindergartens where the mothers weren't present, and from the children themselves, that they were having trouble. They were delighted to find that this would work! The fabric features the Shinkansen bullet train and Doctor Yellow. The Velcro is about 3 cm long. The 2 cm wide elastic band can be used from 25 cm when fitted snugly. It can probably be used up to about 42 cm if stretched strongly, but those who don't have much strength might prefer to use it around 35 cm. The size indicated on the lunch box may be too large based on simple calculations. If it's too big, it won't be useful. A slightly snug fit is recommended. Please be sure to measure the desired position before purchasing. This is a handmade item based on an amateur's idea. The edges are sewn close to the edge, so there may be some distortion.
