This model has a rich, orange wood grain of the black persimmon, and is in very good condition. The dial is enamel, with no chips or cracks. It has the original J mark, and the movement is also stamped. Techniques such as finger jointing, lacquer, wood carving, and wood turning are incorporated, making it a very elaborate work of art.
