I was using it vertically, but sometimes it wouldn't read discs even when inserted. It sometimes reads them after repeated insertion/removal or after restarting with the unreadable disc inside. I tried a wet lens cleaner, but it didn't improve. Everything else works fine. The system is up to date as of the 26th and has been initialized. Only the power cord and HDMI cable are included. I'm listing it as junk due to the disc reading issues.
