This series remains popular even after production has ended. It was widely loved, from commercial use to general household use. The design remained unchanged for over 50 years, but production suddenly ended in 2022. This is a combination of cups & saucers and plates that are convenient for setting up a light meal. For tea time, also for serving slightly more substantial desserts. The kiln met various needs for commercial and household use, and I think there were over 150 items in the series. Since it is no longer possible to enjoy choosing after production ended, I am selling these items. Basically for collection purposes, unused, except for the snack dishes, which were used for a short period and then stored away. These items are already difficult to obtain. Please understand that these items have been stored at home, and consider purchasing them. The snack dishes are the only used items (with fine scratches and scuffs that can be seen depending on the light), so I have rated the condition accordingly. There are no cracks, chips, or watermarks. No original box. I will pack them securely with bubble wrap, etc. ◾️Additional Information◾️ The Blue Danube series is based on the classic design known as "Blue Onion." Blue Onion is famous for the works of European kilns (mainly Meissen, Hutschenreuther, and Carlsbad). This series, made outside of Europe, is also called the fourth Blue Onion (Japanese Blue Onion).
