The mat is soft, the velour-like covers are nice, the cord protection is good, and the controller is easy to see... It's very good, so I kept it, but I've given up and am decluttering two, keeping one. The main unit has been wiped with alcohol, and the covers have been washed. Please only purchase if you understand that this was used at home for cats.
