Please also see my profile. 2006 Upper Deck SPx WBC Jason Bay Jersey Purchasing by an oversea collector via Mercari’s official proxy buyers is highly appreciated. This is a jersey card of Jason Bay, the 2004 NL Rookie of the Year, who was the mainstay of the Canadian national team in the 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classic. This card was included in the 2006 Upper Deck SPx and is a very valuable card with a piece of the "uniform worn by Jason Bay in an official WBC game" embedded in it. For some reason, the "WBC" brand was not issued at the time, and it was included as an insert card in MLB cards, so the probability of finding it was low, and it was very difficult to pull it on purpose. Although it is a 20-year-old card, it has been carefully stored in a dark place with a Dry Pet without being displayed or carried around in an album, so there is no yellowing, burning, or fading, and there is no deterioration such as cracking or peeling due to moisture on the foil stamping, and it is in very good condition. There are no noticeable scratches, and it is generally in good condition, but please forgive any minor initial scratches. It is stored in a top loader and then in a zippered vinyl bag. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped. WBC-related cards are not often issued, and there are no cards issued retroactively in later years.
