This is a yukata I had made two years ago, choosing the original fabric at a kimono shop in Kyoto and having it tailored at a kimono workshop. The fabric cost 55,000 yen, and the tailoring cost 28,500 yen. The fabric is one-of-a-kind, made of cotton with a ro (gauze weave) finish. It's not something you often see elsewhere. The ro fabric is breathable, allowing you to stay cool even on hot and humid days. This yukata is not sold in supermarkets or department stores, and I believe the pattern is unique for a men's yukata. I washed it at home, so it's wrinkled, but it will look beautiful after steaming with an iron. I wore it about three times at the Gion Festival, and there are no scuff marks or stains. I am 172 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, with an average build. Thank you.
