The watch battery is dead. There are spots on the face, so it's probably deteriorated. I really liked the D-buckle because it was very convenient, so I removed it from the watch that I couldn't use anymore and had a watch shop attach the parts to a new strap. I think you can probably do the same and replace the buckle on your favorite watch strap.
