These are -RW (rewritable) type discs, allowing you to overwrite and reuse them after dubbing recorded footage to an HDD or memory card. ★ (It seems that direct overwriting may not be possible depending on the device. In that case, please initialize the disc before use.) These were purchased at a local electronics store for a DVD Handycam. This was the last pack in stock, but I no longer need them as I've gotten rid of my DVD camcorder. Since hardware production ended a long time ago, new 8cm DVD discs, like miniDV tapes and MDs, are difficult to obtain. I suspect that only existing stock and privately owned items are circulating. Both one-time DVD-R and rewritable DVD-RW 8cm types are rare. For those who own a DVD video camera, please consider purchasing.
