Thank you for viewing. This is a bolt of indigo silk fabric, a Budou kimono. It has been stored at home for a long time in its purchased condition. I believe it's from about 50 years ago. It has the characteristic luster of silk and a woven texture with threads coming out. After researching, it seems to be a type of weaving called "Hige Tsumugi." While there are no noticeable stains, dirt, or damage, I haven't unrolled the entire bolt to check the inside. Therefore, there may be discoloration on the edges and outer parts of the rolled fabric due to aging, as well as a characteristic odor. It would be lovely to have it made into a kimono, but I think it can also be used for various craft materials. If you understand the condition, please consider purchasing it.
