This was purchased in February 2009. I used it for about 3 years after purchasing it and then stored it. There are some frayed parts, stains, and the metal fittings have come off. I feel like the hook is also weakening. (It stops in a slightly open state.) As this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive.
