The color is a deeper, more subdued navy than in the images. The chiffon material is soft and feels smooth against the skin, and it's comfortable to wear because it has a lining. The antique-style rose-shaped plastic buttons are also cute and lovely, and they're light and don't snag. I have washed it and it's ready to go, so you can buy it immediately.
