I purchased this nearly 10 years ago. I've only used it about once a year. The holder is long, so a shim is needed for boats with thin gunwales (most boats have shims). There are some paint chips on the red painted areas. Rod clamps are not included. Also, the original rod cord is not stretchy and unusable, so I threw it away. There are loops in the screw parts, so please attach an elastic cord.
